About the course
Exploring the 10 principles of intuitive eating (Tribole & Resch), you will gain insight as to how a diet mentality is keeping you from a relaxed relationship with food and your body. You will take some first steps to come to a better relationship.
For whom: Students who find themselves stressing over food and exercise, who engage in negative thinking about their body (shape, strength, fitness, health) and, as a result, find it hard to go about eating and exercise in a relaxed way. Who want to work on a better relationship with their body and eating but don’t know where to start.
What you WON’T get out of this workshop: We will not be sharing tips about what (not) to eat or how to exercise, tips on how to lose weight, tips to get the most out of your workout.
Please note: Do you have or suspect you might have an eating disorder? You are very welcome to attend this workshop. Do consult your therapist on this first, if you currently have one. If you don’t have a therapist or when you doubt whether this workshop might be a good idea, please send us a message, we’d gladly think with you!
